A treatment being carried out in the K-Laser room at Liposser, Guadalajara

Six technologies.
They do different things,
and only one is yours.

They are not sorted here by brand but by problem: what each one addresses, what it does not, how many sessions it takes and what it feels like. With one rule that costs us sales and earns us patients — when there is genuinely excess skin, none of the six fixes it.

The house rule

Technology does not replace
surgery when there is excess skin.

Almost no clinic puts that sentence on its website, because it closes fewer sales. We write it because it is the only way the rest of this page is worth reading: if we are clear about what a machine cannot do, you can trust us about what it can.

Heat and microneedles contract skin and stimulate collagen. That works on firmness, texture and mild to moderate laxity. What they do not do is remove skin. Once tissue hangs, there is extra fabric, and extra fabric is trimmed in an operating room. Selling you a course of sessions for that is selling you lost time.

Where technology is the right answer

  • Mild to moderate laxity, with skin that still springs back
  • Texture, pores and acne scarring
  • Localized fat in specific areas, in someone close to their weight
  • A double chin with a fat component and good skin tone
  • Uneven tone and superficial pigmentation
  • Maintenance between procedures, or while it is not yet your moment for surgery

Where the honest answer is surgery

  • Abdominal skin that hangs as an apron
  • Separation of the abdominal muscles after pregnancy
  • Marked neck bands and established facial sagging
  • Arm skin that hangs when you raise the arm
  • Fat pads of the eyelid
  • Excess weight: no aesthetic technology replaces losing weight

The K-Laser room sits inside the clinic, under the same medical direction as the operating room — not in a separate aesthetic studio down the road.

The six, by problem

Do not look for the brand.
Look for what bothers you.

Nobody walks in asking for fractional radiofrequency. They walk in saying their neck has dropped, that the fat on their flank will not go, that they have dark patches. Every card starts there.

Texture, pores and mild laxity

Morpheus8

Radiofrequency microneedling: needles carry radiofrequency into the deeper layer. Used on face, neck and body, it covers more areas than the other five.

Yes: texture, pores, acne scarring, stretch marks, mild to moderate laxity.

No: excess skin, eyelid fat pads, volume of fat.

3 sessions · topical anesthesia · 2 to 5 days of visible marks

Localized body fat, where skin still contracts

BodyTite

Radiofrequency-assisted body contouring, delivered under the skin through an entry point a few millimetres wide. The hinge between liposuction and doing nothing.

Yes: abdomen, flanks, back, inner thigh and arms with mild or moderate laxity.

No: an apron of skin, muscle separation, excess weight.

1 session · local anesthesia or sedation · compression garment for 4 to 6 weeks

Double chin and jawline

FaceTite

The same technique as BodyTite in its facial version. It enters through a single point under the chin.

Yes: a double chin with fat, the jawline contour, mild laxity of the neck.

No: neck skin that hangs, marked bands, established sagging.

1 session · local anesthesia · 5 to 7 days of visible swelling

Small areas where nothing else fits

AccuTite

The finest tip in the family. It goes in through a puncture and works in millimetres.

Yes: under-eye hollow, between the brows, around the mouth, a small double chin, the underarm.

No: eyelid fat pads, expression lines, volume.

1 session · local anesthesia · 3 to 5 days of swelling

Tone, texture and pigmentation, without needles

K-Laser Blue

Laser applied on the surface of the skin. Dr. Leal is a speaker for this brand in Mexico and Latin America.

Yes: uneven tone, superficial pigmentation, texture, and post-operative support where it is prescribed.

No: established laxity, fat, melasma in any definitive way.

4 to 6 sessions · no anesthesia · no time off scheduled

Firmness, on the gentlest step

Blue Lifting

A heat-based skin tightening protocol, without needles. The entry point to the room.

Yes: firmness and luminosity, very mild laxity, maintenance.

No: excess skin, a double chin with fat, deep folds.

6 to 8 sessions · no anesthesia · no time off scheduled

The consultant

You say it.
What is usually indicated comes back.

Do not look for the name of a machine: write the sentence you would say out loud, and the technology that usually corresponds appears here — with how many sessions it takes, what it feels like and how long it lasts. If your case calls for the operating room, you will read that here too, with the name of the procedure that does fit.

Your case, in your words

What bothers you when you look in the mirror?

Write it the way you would tell a friend: double chin, love handles, dark patches, loose skin. No medical name is needed, and it does not have to be just one thing.

Or tap one of these, the ones we hear most in consultation:

This is orientation, not a diagnosis: these are approximate ranges of what is usually indicated, and what you write stays on your phone. The plan for your case is defined in consultation, with a physical examination and studies.

How it is decided

Five steps, and at the first one
the answer may be none of them.

01Consultation

An hour with Dr. Leal. Three things most people lump together get separated — skin, fat and muscle — because each has a different answer.

02Prescription

Which of the six, in which area and on what schedule. Or you are told your case is surgical, or that this is not your moment yet.

03Plan in writing

Number of sessions, intervals, what it feels like, the aftercare that follows and what the price covers. Before you pay anything.

04Sessions

Carried out in the K-Laser room, with clinical control photographs taken at each visit for your record.

05Follow-up and maintenance

A review of how it is going and, where it applies, a maintenance schedule inside the Longevity Hub.

Risks and expected effects

What can happen, said
before you book

  • Redness, swelling and heat in the treated area
  • Bruising, more likely on thin skin and in procedures using a cannula
  • Temporary changes in sensation
  • Pigmentation following inflammation, above all with sun exposure
  • Irregularity or asymmetry that may need an adjustment
  • Uncommonly: a burn, an infection or a scar
  • An insufficient result if the case called for surgery from the start

The specific risks of whichever technology is prescribed for you are set out again in consultation, before you sign the informed consent.

Who prescribes and who applies

A surgeon decides,
not a catalogue

The prescription comes from Dr. Alejandro Leal, plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgeon, and treatments are applied under his medical direction. The K-Laser room is not a standalone aesthetic studio. No technology is applied without a consultation first: the question of whether it is what your case needs is settled before anything else, and if it is not, you are told.

Questions and answers

What people ask before walking into the room

Does “without surgery” mean without anesthesia and without recovery?
Not always. Morpheus8, K-Laser Blue and Blue Lifting need no incision. BodyTite, FaceTite and AccuTite do involve an entry point a few millimetres wide, anesthesia and a real recovery with compression. They are called minimally invasive, and the difference is worth knowing before you book.
How do I know whether my case is technology or surgery?
The quick orientation is the pinch test: if the skin springs back on its own when you let go, there is tone and technology has something to work with; if it stays creased, what you have is excess skin, and that is trimmed. The real answer comes from a consultation, with a physical examination.
Can two technologies be combined?
Yes, and it is common: one works at depth and the other at the surface. The order, the intervals and whether they should be done at the same time are decided in consultation, not from a catalogue.
Who carries out the treatments?
The prescription comes from Dr. Alejandro Leal, plastic surgeon, and treatments are applied under his medical direction. The K-Laser room is not a standalone aesthetic studio.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the technology: Morpheus8 is usually 3, BodyTite and FaceTite a single one, K-Laser Blue 4 to 6 and Blue Lifting 6 to 8. The number for your case is set before anything begins and is given to you in writing.
Can I do this if I am planning surgery later on?
In some cases yes, and it is even planned that way: maintenance while the right moment arrives, or preparing the skin before an operation. In other cases the sensible thing is to wait. It is one of the questions a consultation settles.
