Portrait in warm evening light

What you will see, and where

Real cases, chosen for
your body,
shown in private.

The photographs exist, and your surgeon goes through them with you in consultation — cases whose starting point resembles yours. This page tells you the rest: what each procedure achieves, when the result is genuinely visible, and which part of it depends on the surgery and which part depends on you.

The case session

The photographs exist.
And you see them the way
they should be seen:
with your surgeon.

During your assessment, Dr. Leal opens his clinical archive and shows you real cases — chosen because their starting point resembles yours, which is the only comparison that tells you anything. He talks you through each one: what was done, what it took, and how it settled.

  • Cases are selected with a starting point comparable to yours: body, age, skin quality and expectation. Comparing yourself against a body that is nothing like yours does not inform you, it confuses you.
  • The cases that fell short are shown too, and why. Those are the ones that teach the most.
  • Every image shown has the signed consent of the person in it, for that use.
  • The photographs stay inside the consulting room: they travel by no message and appear on no social account.
  • And your own clinical photographs are taken before surgery, so that your comparison is against yourself, which is the only one that counts.

A house policy

A patient’s body
stays with her

That is why the results of this clinic live in the clinical archive and are shown in person: a photograph of you is yours, it is shared only with a signed, specific, revocable consent, and it never becomes advertising. A patient who is operated on here knows her body stays off the internet — today we are describing someone else’s discretion; tomorrow that same discretion is protecting yours.

Mexican health regulation points the same way: the image of a medical outcome is shared in consultation and with permission, and this house meets that standard to the letter — by conviction before obligation.

The real reach of each technique

What each procedure
achieves

Almost every disappointment in plastic surgery starts with asking a procedure to do something that procedure does not do. This table exists so that does not happen to you. What applies to your case is decided in consultation.

ProcedureWhat it can doWhat it cannot do
Lipo HD 360 · body contouring Remove localised fat and redraw the outline of the waist, the back and the abdomen. It is not a weight-loss method, it does not treat obesity, and it does not remove excess skin or cellulite.
Muscle definition Make visible the muscle that is already there underneath, by defining the natural grooves. It does not create muscle. If there is no muscle mass underneath, there is nothing to define, and the gym is still compulsory afterwards.
Tummy tuck Remove excess abdominal skin and repair the separation of the muscles after pregnancy. It does not replace a diet, it does not stop you gaining weight again, and it leaves a permanent scar, which is planned but not erased.
Breast augmentation Add volume and improve proportion with an implant chosen for your anatomy. On its own it does not correct a breast that has dropped considerably — that needs a lift — and it does not make symmetrical two breasts that were never entirely symmetrical.
BBL · buttock augmentation Improve the projection and shape of the buttock by moving the patient’s own fat. Not all grafted fat survives: some of it is always reabsorbed. And it cannot be done if there is not enough fat to take.
Arm lift · brachioplasty Remove skin and fat from the arm once laxity is established. It is not done without a scar: excess skin is removed by cutting. The scar is planned so it can be hidden, but it exists.
Chin and neck Remove fat from the neck and, depending on the case, tighten the skin and the muscle band. If the skin has already lost its ability to retract, removing fat alone can leave it looser. That is why the indication is sometimes a different one.
Facelift Reposition the tissues that have descended and give the face back its outline. It does not change the quality of the skin, it does not remove pigmentation or fine lines, and it does not stop ageing: it sets it back to a new starting point.
Eyelid surgery · blepharoplasty Remove the excess skin and the bags that make the eyes look tired. It does not lift the brow, and it does not remove expression lines around the eye or dark circles caused by pigment.
Non-surgical technologies Improve firmness, texture and mild to moderate laxity by stimulating your own collagen. They do not replace surgery once there is excess skin. Promising otherwise is the most common lie in this industry.

The indication for each case is decided in consultation, with a physical examination and tests. No table replaces that appointment.

Patience is part of the treatment

When you actually see
the final result

This is where most people worry for no reason. At three weeks you are not looking at your result. You are looking at swelling. The general timeline for body contouring is this one.

Day 1–5Swelling increases

Looking worse than you did before surgery is normal. Swelling peaks somewhere around the third to fifth day. Nothing is assessed here.

Week 2–3It starts to come down

Bruising fades and the general shape comes back, but there is still fluid in the tissues. That is exactly what the compression garment is for.

Week 6Recognisable

The change is visible and this is usually when almost all activity is resumed. It is still not the final result.

Month 3–6The real result

This is where the contour starts to be assessed seriously. The skin has finished retracting over most of what it is going to retract.

Month 12–18The scar matures

Every scar goes through a red or raised phase before it flattens and lightens. Judging it before a year is judging it halfway through.

A result is made by two people

What depends on the surgery
and what depends on you

This is the conversation almost nobody has before surgery, and it is the one that changes the result at six months more than any other.

Depends on the surgery and the surgeon
  • The indication: choosing the right procedure, or saying that surgery is not the answer.
  • The technique, the plane of work and how much tissue is removed.
  • Where each scar is placed and how it is oriented so that it can be hidden.
  • The symmetry and proportion aimed for in the operating room.
  • The safety of the procedure: the operating room, the anesthesiologist and the operating time.
  • Close follow-up during the critical weeks and catching a problem early.
Depends on you
  • Wearing the compression garment for the hours you are told, every day, long after you have stopped liking it.
  • Not smoking. Tobacco compromises healing more than almost anything else.
  • Going to the massages or therapies you are prescribed, and to every check-up.
  • Keeping your weight: the fat that was removed does not come back, but the fat that stayed does grow.
  • Respecting the rest periods and the timing for going back to exercise, without getting ahead of them.
  • Telling us early when something does not feel right, instead of waiting for the next appointment.
  • Your genetics, your age and the quality of your skin, which nobody chooses but which decide a great deal.

In his own words

Dr. Leal, on camera

Since there are no photographs to show you, there is something better: the surgeon explaining. These videos live on his channel and answer the questions that come up most often in consultation. They are in Spanish.
